FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Press Release for writer/artist Timothy Goodwin's latest science-fiction/fantasy novel, "Pariah"

(PRWEB) February 6, 2005 -- Reviewers declare that it’s a phenomenal read! "Pariah" is writer/artist Timothy Goodwin’s latest science-fiction/fantasy masterpiece that punches a hole in the science-fiction genre, and finds itself equated unto such “heavy hitters” as "Lord of the Rings" by J.R.R. Tolkien and "The Dark Tower" by Stephen King.  Superbly crafted, Pariah is a tale of epic proportions centered upon Eric Hawthorne, an atypical man with a mental disorder trapped in another world that is constantly shifting and constricting time, and trying desperately to return to the love of his life.  Pariah is the first in the series of "The Spirit of Law and Fire" and "The Further Adventures of Vantell Scheia," which are still in process.

A resident of Somerville, Massachusetts; Timothy Goodwin was born in California. Upon reaching the age of thirteen he moved to Alaska, where he lived for ten years and excelled in creative writing and advanced art in school.  Mr. Goodwin then moved to Seattle, Washington, and Denver, Colorado, and further pursued advanced experiences in creative writing in college.  Timothy also lived in Stockton, California, and studied extensively the activities of the homeless and the influence of various religious cults, where he found the fuel to breathe life into his first fantasy novel, "Pariah".  Having spent some time living among the homeless, it is here that Mr. Goodwin says that he has “learned the truest value of love, integrity, and humility.”
