The End of Time Title: The End of Time
The End of Time
by Randall Towe is a science fiction fantasy about the coming of the end of
the world.
Catherine grew up in a loving
family with an older brother Darien, who loved Catherine. He promised
to be with her always. Catherine grew into a gifted young woman and
she and Darien planned their lives together to find the stars and visit
Orion’s belt. Catherine and Darien were on their way when Satan’s
followers wrenched them apart and gave Catherine a terrible choice, to
accept Satan or watch Darien be tortured and then killed. Catherine
gives in and Darien escapes, which sets in motion both Satan's plans and the
divine scriptures that foretell the occurrences about the end of the world.
Will Darien stay alive long enough to save Catherine and prevent the
destruction of all mankind? Will Catherine and Darien’s love be strong
enough to overcome all of the obstacles that life is throwing at them? http://www.fallenangelreviews.com/2006/December/Teresa-TheEndOfTime.htm
In order to stand up to the Satanic powers of the alien Elohim, sworn enemies who are out to destroy the whole of mankind, two space travelers must first learn the truth of why we are all on this planet. In their sweep through the galaxy, Catherine and Darien—her own personal Ulysses—face demons far beyond mere mortals, climaxing in a battle with the ultimate demonic force of Satan, himself. As the story unfolds, it becomes clear that the author draws as much upon the inner strength and moral fortitude of his characters as he does upon their heroic feats. This fast-paced story built around a heroic plot is filled with memorable characters. The story climaxes with an epic battle in which the future of humanity hangs in the balance and eventually resolves into a very believable, feel-good ending. The author has done a commendable job of recreating the often-told story line of good vs. evil while giving it a new twist. The result is a book that moves along quickly and readers who find it difficult to put down. In short, this is a sold four-out-of-five-star rating, one of the most creative and enjoyable books of its genre. Reviewed by:
Don Bacue, Executive Editor The End of Time is a new story based on an old idea: good versus evil, but Randall has made this a totally different story. It's a tale of two lovers torn apart by evil; the story of what man must suffer before he can know true happiness, the "truth" of why we are here. Overall, it is a good, fast paced story, with interesting characters, an epic battle and a satisfying ending. The often-written good versus evil story is done in an interesting enough way to make it stand out from other stories of a similar genre, and the plot moves with speed and it's hard to put it down.
